THE BRIEF
A Home That Needed to Grow
This semi-detached home in the London Borough of Enfield had a traditional layout that the family had outgrown. The ground floor was divided into separate rooms, including a small kitchen, which felt disconnected from the main living spaces. With a large, unused attic, there was significant potential to create both a better communal hub and more private bedroom space.
THE PLAN
A Comprehensive, Two-Storey Solution
We designed a complete, top-to-bottom renovation to reinvent the home. At the back, a full-width rear extension was added to create a vast, open-plan kitchen and family room. Above this, a full loft conversion was constructed, adding a new floor containing a spacious master bedroom with an ensuite and a Juliet balcony. This dual-level project has completely reconfigured the house for modern family life.
