THE BRIEF
A Home Divided by Walls
The property's original ground floor was compartmentalised, with the kitchen , living, and dining rooms all functioning as separate, disconnected spaces. This layout was unsuitable for modern family life, lacking flow and a visual connection to the garden.
THE PLAN
Designing for Light, Flow, and Togetherness
We designed a full-width rear extension and removed several internal walls to create a vast, single open-plan space for the kitchen, lounge, and dining areas. New bi-folding doors now span the entire rear elevation, flooding the new hub with natural light and creating a seamless transition between the inside of the home and the garden patio.
