This family home in the London Borough of Wandsworth was facing challenges on two fronts. The ground floor featured a cramped, isolated kitchen that was ill-suited for family life, while upstairs, a growing family needed an additional bedroom and a private master suite.
THE PLAN
A Dual Solution for a Complete Family Home
We devised a comprehensive, two-part strategy. On the ground floor, a rear extension created a magnificent, light-filled open-plan kitchen and dining area that now serves as the heart of the home. Simultaneously, a full loft conversion added a serene master bedroom and a new bathroom, providing a peaceful retreat on a newly created top floor.
